Job Title: Part Time Nanny in Hertfordshire

Travel: possibly 1-2 weeks in the summer
Nanny Profile: Experienced with age group, HNW household experience, flexible attitude, mature, assertive and confident, kind and positive, active, engaging and pro-active, organised, excellent communication skills, firm but fair with focus on good manners
Nanny Duties: Mix of sole and joint care alongside mum, engage in play and activities, support learning and development, go to classes, spend time outdoors, cook and supervise mealtimes, undertake usual nursery duties, provide extra pair of hands as and when required
A lovely down to earth family relocating to Hertfordshire need a professional, experienced but warm and relaxed nanny to help with their two children. Dad has a high profile job so someone discreet but confident is very important. You must have previous experience working in a HNW household.
Duties will include assisting mum with the childcare as well as some sole charge care, taking the toddler to classes and outdoor activities, arranging creative activities at the home, help with cooking healthy meals and all usual day-to-day duties of a nanny. They don’t expect the nanny to do housekeeping, but someone pro-active and happy to do the dishwasher, tidy up as they go along and keep the space organised is important.
Someone mature, with emotional intelligence and social awareness, and confidence in knowing when to step back and when to take charge is vital, as is someone unflustered with being around someone in the public eye.
Person Specification:
- Good level of spoken English
- Solid experience with age group
- Experience in a HNW household
- Knowledge or qualifications in childcare/child development

- Discreet and professional and understands when to step back
Job Requirements:
- An Enhanced DBS Check issued in the last year, or willing to get one
- Proof of UK Right to Work status
- Clean drivers license
- A valid pediatric first aid certificate, or willing to get one
- Minimum 2 checkable references
