Job Title: Part Time Nanny

Hours: Core hours – 2.30pm-7.30pm Mon-Fri. Additional PA duties can be added if wanted e.g. 1.30pm-2.30pm + extra hours on a Sunday if wanted (they are flexible with timings/whole day/part day)

Salary: £18 – £22 gross per hour
Children: 5 & 8yr old
Driver: Yes – use of family automatic car
Nanny Profile: Experienced with age group, education background eg teaching/TA, pro-active, engaging, motivated, organised
Nanny Duties: School pick-up, engage in creative play and activities, support learning and development, help with homework and school projects, go to classes, spend time outdoors, day trips during school holidays, cook and supervise mealtimes, undertake usual nursery duties, additional hours – PA duties eg keeping on top of household admin + running errands if wanted

This is a long-term role for a nanny seeking a part-time position with a degree of flexibility and variety. The family are friendly, respectful, and value someone who can become a supportive part of their day-to-day lives.
A confident driver is essential. The family will provide access to an automatic car for work-related use.
Working Hours:
• Core Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:30pm – 7:30pm
• Optional Additional Hours:
• 1:30pm – 2:30pm for PA duties (if desired)
• Extra hours on Sundays – flexible (whole day or part day)
Key Responsibilities:
Childcare Duties:
• School pick-up and escorting children home or to after-school activities
• Planning and engaging in creative play, educational activities, and outings
• Supporting learning and development, including homework and school projects
• Encouraging outdoor play and physical activity
• Supervising and preparing nutritious meals for the children
• Planning day trips and age-appropriate outings during school holidays
• Carrying out standard nursery duties (e.g. keeping children’s areas tidy, laundry for the children)
(Optional) Household/PA Duties:
• Running local errands
• Managing household admin tasks (e.g. keeping on top of schedules, ordering supplies)
• Liaising with contractors or household staff if needed
Ideal Candidate:
• Proven experience working with children aged 5–8
• Background in education (e.g. former teacher, TA, or similar)
• Proactive, enthusiastic, and nurturing approach
• Highly organised and confident managing children’s schedules
• Flexible and willing to assist with family life where needed
• Confident driver with a clean licence
