What Is An After School Nanny?

After school nannies work with school-aged children that are usually 5yrs+ and support their learning with after-school activities and help with homework. A Snuggles Childcare after school nanny will have relevant experience with the age group they are placed with and will have been thoroughly vetted by us using our 6 step process.

Nannies that work part-time as an after school nanny may be studying or have another part-time job. If they are a student and have a student visa, they are only able to work a maximum of 20hrs per week during term time.

Covid-19 Guidance

Snuggles Childcare is currently able to provide emergency and temporary nanny placements during school closures. We are taking every precaution to ensure our nannies and clients stay safe and are following official Government Guidelines and NHS Advice.  We are placing local nannies within walking distance of your home and encouraging live-in nannies wherever possible.

We ask that you interview candidates initially via video and if you do then meet in person, to do so in an outdoor space maintaining a distance of 2 metres.

Our nannies have strict instructions for regular handwashing throughout the day, daily temperature checks, getting to work via Uber, cycling or walking where possible (live-in nanny care is the safest option) and self-isolating should symptoms appear.
